beautiful snake but yes that dude will clean you out if you don’t remove him. When I had chickens I had the most determined rat snake I’d ever seen, somebitch was on a first name basis with my hens. It got to be funny, I’d pull his arse out of there and drive him a block away and he’d be back the next night.

Thats why my coops are built with 1/2 inch hardware cloth. .

Im thinking of getting this one from Amazon. Run an electric fence outside along the bottom and nothing is digging under the fence.

Growing up in Desoto Parish with chickens, I didn't know there was anything other than black rat snakes.
