Congress just passed President Trump’s rescissions package.

$8 billion of these savings come from clawing back bloated foreign spending.
I’ve always supported targeted investments that strengthen U.S. interests.
This wasn’t that. This was a taxpayer-funded grab bag of global pet projects with little to no return for the American people.
For example:
— $460 million for gender and climate programs in Europe and Central Asia
— $125 million for a “Clean Technology Fund” promoting Green New Deal projects abroad
— $2.5 billion in so-called development aid, often funneled into corrupt regimes
— $436 million for UN programs that botched COVID and undermined U.S. interests
— $83 million for “democracy promotion” programs that often fund anti-American NGOs
— $27 million for projects like “recycler equity” in Bolivia and DEI outreach in Brazil
— $22 million to the African Development Foundation for niche cultural grants
— $800 million for refugee programs misused to support open-border agendas
And we finally cut the cord on taxpayer-funded media.

None of it helped working families.
It funded ideology, not results.
This package puts America’s priorities first again.
