Is there any evidence of going to IMG actually helping anyone? I don't find that the guys that come out of there perform any better in college and 99% of them would get the same offers at their regular HS.

If a parent or player has any doubt of their school, not marketing the player as good as possible, IMG erases any doubt of that question; whether the assumption is false or not.

They are simply brokers now. LSU needs to start paying high school NIL to get kids a lab school and then try to retain them at LSU. Invest earlier.

Jesuit had an idea about this. Dude didn’t show up to any team activities all summer

Dude is a mercenary and was going to take a massive cash commitment. I am sure we are still pursuing, but at least we don’t have to hear “How does LSU lose a 5-star from Louisiana!?!?”

Fyi- Studrawa is their HC. Was here for many years, don’t think any of this hurts our chances, will always be about the bag

Dude has a massive chip on his shoulder and has been chasing the bag for months. I honestly do not know how he's a 5 star either after watching all his games for the last 2 years

Was going to also say, going to IMG can greatly backfire

Shoutout to him for betting on himself. But they are 2 deep every position. You need to show out

I'm guessing his parents had not paid this year's Jesuit tuition either.

Will help with early enrollment in college if the school the athlete previously attended does not allow early graduation. IMG does, Jesuit most probably does not.

Training facilities and staff, as well as, nutritional program should also be better at IMG.

Marketing as in NIL deals or Marketing as in college scholarship offers? This kid is a top 5 player in the country on every site so I don't think the latter was an issue. I could DEFINITELY see Jesuit cock blocking itself and saying he can't earn NIL money while enrolled at the school. That would actually be the most Jesuit thing ever done. They once told us that the football team couldn't get sweatshirts with our names and numbers on them because it was unfair to the students who don't play football...

I could be wrong but I am fairly certain that at Jesuit (and all the other catholic HS) the students have the credits to get a Lousiana HS diploma after their JR year. SO while Jesuit coould deny a Jesuit diploma, they can't deny a player from getting a state diploma and enrolling early anyway.

I am probably wrong since Jahkeem Stewart most likely doesn't transfer to Karr if this were true. But his situation was even more unique as he was attempting to completely reclassify.

If he was getting NIL money Jesuit doesnt need to know…

Yeah the rest of the state won’t like that… let’s say thats U-High. Nobody is gonna want them to remain in the LHSAA if it’s out in the open that it’s LSU’s “developmental” program.

Coach Stud was canned at LsU, Les fired him after OT Robinson went to Bama. He will push the kid to OSU over LSU all day.

Can’t stand this prospect. Putting himself in a position to make the most money possible based on the perception of his unique talents? Truly sickening.

He’s in for a rude awakening when he finds out in the REAL WORLD that companies only hire people because they love the company and don’t care how much he can actually produce.

This kid had several behavioral incidents that would have put others under expulsion. The incidents were overlooked because they thought he would bring them good publicity. Meanwhile, Jesuit kicked out their best athletes in two sports for trivial minor offenses. The results were getting their asses kicked in one state championship and almost losing in another sport. The Jays are getting what they deserved in this case.
