Hopefully Guidry can get in the weight room soon with that back. Has never been a big guy but was rail thin at end of year celebration. Probably hasn't been able to do much in recovery

6-3 215 5th year guy. He’s started a lot of games, 9-1 this past year, 2.99 ERA, 72.1 IP, 98Ks, 31bb.

Schmidt has the talent to be the Friday guy if he can get his head right. Seems he has the same problem that a lot of kids that have dominated everyone else on the field his entire life. Doesn’t know how to deal with adversity now that everyone on the field is top tier talent. It will totally be mental for him, and once he gets his head right… SEC better look out for him

He’s just lanky and wirey, and needs more strength to better control his mechanics. He’s not pitching in the summer and is on an individual program with Yeskie and Martin. He will be much improved next year.
