Dems will try, try and try again and again. Colin Allred to run for US Senate. Again.

In 2018, Beto O'Rourke lost to Ted Cruz in the race for US Senator. So in 2022 Dems run him, again, against Greg Abbott, where Beto lost by nearly a million votes and an 11 point spread.
In the 2024 Senate race, Ted Cruz debated Allred and proved Allred was a lightweight, incompetent ex-football player. In the election, Cruz secured 53.1% of the vote, while Colin Allred received 44.5%. The vote totals were: Ted Cruz with 5,990,741 votes, and Colin Allred with 5,031,249 votes.
So Allred lost by nearly a million votes to Cruz, who nobody really likes.
What do Dems do? Double-down, as usual, and run Allred again for the Dem nomination to run for US Senate against long-time sitting incumbent US Senator John Cornyn, who is facing calls from MAGA Conservatives to retire while current Texas AG Ken Paxton, who has his own issues, as his wife is publicly calling him out over infidelity, is mulling a run against Cornyn.
Dems:
So, Allred announces he's running. Again.
So Texans have a year of his fricking stupid, gummy-assed smile in his campaign commercials to suffer through. Again

Colin is a political loser. After he gets his a$$ handed to him yet again, despite how much $$ the cabal......I mean his handlers have raised for his campaign - he may go the route of Hillary and disappear altogether.

Texas is slowly changing, not to the point that they will vote this idiot, but year after year its going to be closer and closer.

I hate Cornyn with a passion & want that Rhino primaried but Collin Allred is a complete & utter loser. I haven’t seen a vagina pounded so hard since the Pam & Tommy sex tape until I saw the Cruz-Allred debate. All Allred had was Ted Cruz was in Cancun when the once in a hundred year ice storm happened to hit Texas, he was captain of the Baylor football team, & of course his mother was a single mom. That is truly all he had in his campaign & that debate. He is extremely limited verbally so he was obviously no match for the Harvard debate champ. Cruz is not the most likable guy either. Allred is a disgrace.

Gill won't run and unfortunately for Texas Republicans it won't split the MAGA vote, and Paxton will be ushered in as the nominee. Colin Allred will be the new senator from Texas, and the first Democrat to win a statewide office in Texas since 1994.
Cornyn fights for Texas; he fights for us. Ken Paxton is an ethical zero who fights for nobody but himself.
