If Cox and Janitor don't come back, I won't bother. Already sucks that Ted is dead and Kelso is 84.

Why not just create a new show instead of milking a classic?

Because S9 did so well ? We NEED a follow up series 15+ years later?

Will Bill Lawrence be involved? Christa Miller?

RIP Lawyer Ted (Sam Lloyd)

Less risk using nostalgia to their advantage. Show is gonna bomb, but enough viewers will watch if it has enough Scrubs appeal.

I have a feeling McGinley will appear as a cameo character on several episodes, but I doubt he comes back full time.

He seemed to be distancing himself in season 9 and with how shitty it turned out it would be hard to commit.

The other three need money as they haven’t had high-profile careers since the show originally wrapped

The biggest issue is Bill Lawrence. Went his scripts and shows hit, they are the best writing on TV at times... But when it misses, it really makes a pile of dog poop.

That being said, John McGinley said earlier this year he is all for the reboot and would love to be in it.

Not sure if it’s a reboot if the original premise of the show no longer works? This can’t be about a bunch of young doctors growing into their role as medical professionals - in their universe if their timeline follows ours they all have 25 years of experience as doctors.

I bet they pestered Bill Lawrence into this until he finally gave in. Dude was moving on, creating new shite working with people like Harrison Ford, meanwhile the cast of Scrubs were just floundering not doing much.

Weird to have listened to their podcast reminiscing about a show from 20 years ago and now they’re bringing it back… I just hope they don’t ruin it by trying to modern day the story. It won’t work & would only tarnish great memories.

Didn't Carla not really get along with the rest of the cast as well as others?

"Need the money?" The lowest net worth in that group is $8 million

Yeah I am not sure they "need" the money (although I am sure all of them are happy to get a regular paycheck and gig)

But they certainly do need some work and I think they have said for years they all just want to work together again
