Isn't the Ohio Club bar there? I've wanted to stop and have a beer there for years.

Deluca's Pizza is a must. Crystal Ridge Distillery, great moonshine.

I just went a few weekends back.

Nice little town for no more than an extended weekend. I would stay on the lake or closer to the downtown area. The National park is underwhelming unless you want to hike the Sunset trail.

Do the Mountain Tower, the drive up is fun.

Hickory Nut Mountain lookout is about 45 mins away from Hot Springs, very pretty drive and the best lookout spot you will get anywhere in that range of Hot Springs.

Stay away from the public baths at Quapaw. When we went it was nothing but crusty 85+ year olds. Not sure who would want to sit in a "public bath" surrounded by old people who are probably leaking from god knows where.

We also did a duck boat tour, and while it was gimmicky, it entertained us for about an hour and 15 minutes.

Bar hopped around town and did The Ohio Club, a new beer and wine lounge called "Underground Lounge", Maxine's, the Copper Penny (Irish Pub), and The Heist. The Ohio Club was our favorite but they charged a 5$ cover. Watch out for Hot Springs 33% alcohol tax............

Places we ate at:
Diablos (honestly, not terrible Tex Mex being so far away from Texas. Their Margs were a bit off though.)
DeLuca's (Pizza was alright, not my cup of tea. Thin, crispy, and charred pizza.)
The Ohio Club (great old-fashioned)
Fisherman Wharf (good food, but prices are steep for what you get)

Overall, I enjoyed my time in the area, but I think that was mainly due to it being my first time. I would go back but it may be awhile before doing it again.

Look around Lake Hamilton. They have a good bit of Air BnB's.
