The Fever just routed the best team in the WNBA, 74-59, to win the Commissioner's Cup, Queen Cait watched from the bench with an "injury."
That team is loaded.
Queen Cait is not contributing. She is 54th in the league in scoring, 1-23 on 3-pointers in her last three games, and she leads the league in turnovers per game.
Is it time to trade Queen Cait while they still can get something for her?

ETA: Sophie Cunningham is still gorgeous.

You’re so desperate for Clark to fail solely because she’s a straight white girl bringing unprecedented attention to a sport that is 90% black dykes.

It means the winning team shares $500,000.

Nope, just pointing out that if she were black, you nor 90% of this board would have ever heard of her.

Your fixation with race and sexuality is bizarre.

Just making it very clear that she's an average player, at best, and that there must be some other reason why people think she's a "generational" talent.

What do you think that could be?

Nobody seems to be able to answer that question.

Well, the simplest answer is you're wrong, she's a talented player. And you have an unhealthy obsession with her, based entirely on bigoted notions about race and sexuality.

Easy. It's because I'm old enough to remember while she was in college , there has never been another women's player to play the game as she did. It just looked different. That's the obvious answer.

She is only in her second year, after having a very good rookie season. Sophomore slump? Nagging injury she's trying to play through? Beastly women beating on her every night? Who knows. You just seem to enjoy her down season a little too much.

But I guess that means women's basketball has achieved equality. If you can irrationally hate a player for no real reason at all, then by god, we have achieved some level of equality.

She is. She's the 54th best shooter in the league right now. If that's not generational talent, what is?

You must have me confused with someone else. I'm not part of the Cait Cult.

So you're saying that if Caitlin Clark were black, she'd be just as popular as she is today?

Who are you trying to convince?

I can only speak for myself. I do, but I may be the only one here who does.

Doesn't seem to stop folks from voicing an opinion on it, though.

The fact that we have people on this board actually talking about the WNBA proves how relevant Clark makes that joke of a league. You could put high school boys out there and it would be a better product.

Like I keep saying. I'm trying to make a point. She's just making it easy for me to do so.

What if you irrationally love a player because of the color of their skin, and their sexual orientation? Have we then achieved some level of equality?

Don't put words in my mouth, that whole thing is your shitty argument, not mine. It's a nonsense "what if?" scenario based solely on your own prejudices. We get it, you hate her 'cause she's white, straight and popular.

ETA: Some of you sure get triggered when the subject of sexist, racist homophobes comes up.
