Isn’t this the same team who lost to South Carolina at home and needed a miracle to beat SMU at the end of last year????

I thought for sure with our portal additions we would be considered the more talented team. But every national media outlet is talking like they are the 2nd coming of a prime saban bama roster. I understand why we are underdogs being the road team and BK not being able to win week 1 but they don’t portal at all and every time I watched one of their games last year I came away underwhelmed.

Maybe I’m seeing it through purple and gold lenses though

You are.

Are you going to apply this same logic to our games against South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss?

That’s just not true.

So what are you upset about?

I think we have a decent shot to win, but no LSU fans should really be upset about any of the stuff you are talking about.

To be fair we kinda needed some help to beat south Carolina

And smu would have scored on our D last year.

Both teams are different. It's a new year.

Personally I think Perkins has a emergence game and shows why he was so good as a freshman and good guys win by 10

Their strength is their D line against our completely new, lately weak O line.

Then their QB and WRs are great and our defense has been subpar.

We will need to show tons of improvement

BK is close to incompetent in big games especially in season openers. The portal additions are nothing but a prime example of a roster full of holes in his 4th year. Great coach with weak ND schedule. Nothing but above average in SEC.

They should be very good this year. It’s a pretty even matchup & they are slight favorites since it’s a home game for them.

They did this year

Six projected first round draft picks will get the media ink rolling.

The last two seasons, Clemson started 0-1. Last season against SEC Teams,
0-3. We’ll see soon enough.

Watch patrick Peyton highlights and I don't see many teams getting outside with him and Perkins healthy. Those 2 attacking is gonna be our way to lots of wins

They probably have a top 2 defensive line going against pretty much a brand new OL at home in week 1. They also have good WRs and a solid, experienced QB. They are favored in the game by the sports books for a reason.

Is it the Tiger paw on their helmets? You can definitely miss it if you aren’t paying attention.

Would seem like a miracle considering how bad LSU has fared in openers under BK. And this should be the most talented team we have played in an opener under BK.

I like being the underdog in this game. Maybe it'll put a chip on the team's shoulder.

You know Dabo is going to run some funky trick plays too that could catch us off guard

Or he could be holding on to 2019 regret so tightly it blows up in his face

He’s a great coach I expect it to be a really tough game to win.

I do like BKs ability to get the best out of guys as the season goes along

We just can’t have any Texas A&M games or Florida games this year

Regardless of this game if we only have 2 SEC losses I expect to be in the playoff with a star QB

An NFL DL and a QB with an NFL skillset who has looked on the virtue of elite play for a while now.

I think he is just saying they are making them out to be very top tier when they aren't more talented than us. Vegas sees it...or the bettors...but news outlets all over them...and their qb #1 pick by ESPN is a major reach
