Everything y’all are saying about his game has really got me thinking.
What if he ends up being exactly what we hoped Zion would be?
Yeah, he’s a shitty fit with Zion, but that’s because he and Zion have the same skill set. They are very close to the same player, the difference being Zion is more of a pure 4 whereas Queen is more of a 4/5 tweener. However, Queen has speed for a big guy and even though he’s a hair under 6’10”, watching his highlights, he attacks the lane like Zion, but unlike Zion, he doesn’t gorge sodas and frick Instagram thots. At least not yet.
If Queen pans out, would it not allow us to finally trade Zion?
Whenever Zion inevitably gets hurt, Queen will definitely have an opportunity to start in his place.
Anyone else agree?

He doesn’t have near the athletic ability that Zion does lol

Some of you trying to justify the trade, I get it but comparing him to Zion is a reach

Then he’ll be labeled Dairy Queen here soon.

That is true and at the same time Zion has nowhere near the height, length, and footwork of Queen
Imagine if Z actually worked on his craft and had an array of moves like a Queen in addition to his athleticism.
Luka, Jokic, Sengun, Cade, Shai, and many others are also examples of players with far less athleticism than Z, but far better skill levels due to their work ethic.
More than 1 way to be a star in this league and usually it’s the hardworking guys vs the guys gifted with 45 inch verticals that can’t do much of anything else.

I don’t think their play styles and attributes are similar at all as college prospects
Zion is fast, tenacious, aggressive, 1 of 1 athleticism for his physical profile.
Queen is methodical, skilled, smart. He’s more the Sabonis, Sengun, Jokic archetype (if he maximizes his full potential). If he can lock in and play hard throughout the game and improve his outside shooting we got something

I really do not think so

Let's just hope our dude can consistently stay on the court and contribute unlike Zion.
Seems to be somewhat clutch and has some dawg in him.
His bank shot buzzer beater over Colorado State to send Maryland to sweet 16 this year was great.
