The beginning of the interview was even weirder.
She basically admitted she was ashamed of her Italian heritage and wished she was jewish. When she had a star of david jewelry piece commissioned for herself the jeweler warned her that people might incorrectly assume she was jewish, to which said she sure hoped so.

However, what I see are American Christians, compared to other countries, showing a great love for Israel which can eclipse the love for their own country.
