This is how most carriers operate. State Farm has been talking about this change for a while.

state farm did dumb shite for a long time, once again, they are having to fix the way they did shite cause they did shite wrong.

State Farm here, too... Four vehicles, we rather be billed all at the same time. We see what each vehicle costs, but pay them all together every six months. Why would you want separate bills?

Almost every carrier has had a multicar policy, SF has been modernizing and moving towards this for a decade. It’s a good thing that simplifies billing and should allow you a better rate.
Do some of yall think before the shite falls from your mouth?

Is anyone in this boat? I feel like this is a ploy by State Farm to bury the actual cost of individual cars.

Because he can’t afford to pay them all at once.

Exactly never understood the singular policy thing with them

because state farm would do slimy stuff like:
Family of 3, 2 parents plus a driving teenager. They would only rate the teen driver on 1 vehicle and not apply all drivers to all vehicles in household.

Also: I'm not referring to a multi car discount. This change is putting all of my cars on the same policy.
Most other auto insurers do this in Louisiana.

Insurance must be cheaper in SC... I just got my renewal in the mail and..
6mo policy
$114.48
$128.59
$149.25
$430.00 (full coverage)

All drivers are permitted to drive all vehicles in our household... each vehicle has a primary driver though... are you saying the teenager can only drive one of the household vehicles?

Why the eyeroll? Just explaining why one vehicle was costlier than the other three.

Your post is pretty meaningless without coverage amounts and vehicles but yes SC is way cheaper than LA

Then you are getting fricked. You should shop your shite yearly but at a minimum every couple of years.

Stop driving cars or carpool. The earth needs to be saved from climate change.

No, the teen could drive any vehicle as long as they aren’t excluded. SF is one of the only companies that still has permissive use.

i hate that term. people run around having state minimum liability limits and brag about having "full coverage"

That's what our experience has been, so I don't understand the complaint the other poster had.
