Im sure many of you have seen this years ago, but its a great listen in honor of the 8th championship for the program that Skip built. Only 3 minutes long.

Besides just being tGOAT, its hard not to respect that he walked away when he knew it was time and didnt have to be pried away from the job (not that anyone would have been able/tried to)

That was a great speech. I've never heard anyone explain baseball that way, so succinctly. It's so true what he said.

The man is a treasure. It is going to be like losing my grandfather when Skip goes. Sad to think about, really.

Are there any college people in the National Baseball Hall of Fame? He deserves a plaque in Cooperstown. If writers and media and contributors and whatever are allowed, a transcendent college coach should be in, also.
