Tim Watts from Rivals on the Finescum show said if things fell into place Bama could end up #1 for the second year in a row. They already have #3 Fluker and he said it was not a stretch for them to get #2 RR, #6 TR and #11 Kirkpatrick.

Of course he's preaching to the Bama choir. I still can't figure Fluker #3............we'll see.

Lol, "they already have #3 Fluker" but no TR?

I guess that dude decommitted TR also. Sadly for his predictions, Rivals still as him listed so Bama will have to sign a lot of 4 stars to move up to #1. Prolly have to break last year's record of 32 recruits.

LSU is just as likely to sign RR and TR.

If they were to get every top prospect they're going after, maybe, but they won't. But they'll make a good push for it because they're trying to sign a billion kids once again, manipulating the system.

Randle is their only shot and hes coming coming here. period. that being said the following cats
Randle #1 WR
Shepard #1 dual threat QB/ATH
Loston #1 safety
Jackson #2 corner
Davenport #4 DT
Ford #7 RB
Downs #14 DT

might have something to say about that.

Why is this brought up so much of this board. (I've seen it brought up for multiple schools.) Isn't it just common sense to recruit more kids than you expect to take?

That being said, its not like Alabama is gonna deny any of these guys....so I don't see how this is so relevant.

Well, I bet they don't get Randle, Kelly, and Lacy may not qualify.
I've also heard Massie is looking around.

Either way, if LSU finishes with Randle, Mingo, T. Jones, and one more, we should hold off everyone.

That would give us six 5* players between rivals and scout -Randle, Shep, Davenport, Ford (Scout 5*), Jackson (Rivals 5*), and Loston.

USC signs one more 5* or two more 4*s, they take over. I know it don't mean crap, but just saying.

I bet Fluker ends up as a OG. I saw him at the AA game, and I think he is probably around 400lbs. Probably too big for Tackle, but if he did play tackle, and they got massie, that would be one hell of a running o-line.

Ummm...yeah we did. And with Kerry Murphy and Jermaine Preyear enrolling for this spring semester...it absolutely corrects those enrollment rankings. But mostly, I think our class proved itself on the field.

And not to brag or anything, but while all of you were laughing when Bama sites were thinking we had a chance at the top class this year...it was quite obvious we'd have a great chance to compete. Even with Randle (who I think LSU gets), we'll have just as many 5 stars as LSU with 5 and more 4 stars and more overall players.

However it plays out, both classes (along with USCs and tOSUs) are going to be very special classes
