Can you imagine if Jacob Misiorowski was on the 2023 team

He got drafted in the 2022 draft after transferring to LSU. Would have been teamed up with skenes. He threw 6 no hit innings in his MLB Debut. Here’s him throwing a 96mph slider

Could've had a rotation of Skenes, Misiorowski, and Grant Taylor.

With a bullpen of Snelling, Edwards, Shores, Guidry, Floyd, Ack, Coop, Hurd.

Would have been the best team of all time, without a shadow of a doubt.

I hate these chicken shite responses like this.
It’s ok to be happy and use your imagination when talking about LSU sports.

Every team could have been better regardless of whether or not they won a championship. It’s cool to think of all the possibilities if certain players had stayed in school longer.

I’ve thought of players like Devin White and Greedy Williams staying in school and playing on the 2019 team. It would have been fun to watch a couple more dominant defensive players on our 2019 defense. The 2019 team would have even more of an argument for best team ever.

I’ve also thought about if we had signed Keon Coleman in 2023 and how unbelievable the 2023 offense would have been with a third dominant wide out in addition to Nabers and Thomas.

Some morons on here made fun of me for this and said “maybe 2019 would have won a championship” and “offense wasn’t a problem in 2023. Another great wideout wouldn’t have mattered.”

It’s just dog shite logic and a chicken shite thing to say to fellow LSU fans. That’s why it frustrates me.

Jesus Christ

If my initial response would have been “if my aunt had nuts she would be my uncle” would you have been less upset?

Strange to post this without mentioning a healthy Grant Taylor, who was actually on the team

Think of all the guys signed but took the money. Crazy to see those guys on campus.

Just think if Herring and Jump would've stayed and Guidry and Sheerin didn't get hurt. This can be done almost any year. But honestly, if this team had a healthy Guidry and Sheerin....

I'm looking forward to big things for them next season, along with the quartet of FR arms from this year.

To go the other direction, what if the shot Anderson took off his wrist had shelved him for the rest of the season.

I do wish would he had healthy, year older Guidry though.

I think the bigger part to the original post is LSU has signed a lot of guys who if the money wasn’t right… they’d be on campus. Makes MLB teams really dig deep in their draft pool money when dealing with LSU signees/players. Got to get close or over or they will enjoy 2-3 years in front of the best college baseball fans and in the best college baseball conference in America and we will be paying more or fighting to get them.

I know it can, but Miz and Taylor are significantly better than Guidry and what we know Sheerin to be. Sheerin could be a stud (I think he will), but Taylor was penciled into Saturday until like a week before the first pitch.

Miz was a late riser on draft boards IIRC, and Taylor was actually on the team.

Jump also had no shot of coming back. Herring probably should have from a signing bonus standpoint, but he's lighting it up in the minors (best ERA across the entire minor leagues as of yesterday).

Not a relevant or genuine response.

And the answer to this latest dumb response is yes because at least saying that would not make the stupid implication that that team could not have been better in any way.
