Iron Help

Been struggling lately with Irons. I’m fine with driver off tee box and anything 100 yards in w/ wedges. Put any other club in hand and it looks like I’ve never picked up a club before.
Any tips, practice routines, etc the Golf Board would recommend. Will be getting lessons soon too.

Feet together drill.
It’s all about contact.

Hit up on the driver with the ball forward in your stance. Hit down on irons with the ball closer to the middle of your stance. Ball first... then divot. If you practice on a mat, then drop a blade of grass or something small about a club head in front of the ball and make sure you hit ball first and then whatever you put down. Once you conquer that you can move on to other parts of your swing to correct ball flight issues.

You’re probably losing your angle of attack. Tee up your ball on the range like you would on a par 3 and put a towel around 5-6 inches behind your ball and try to not hit the towel.

Your grip is most likely the weak link in your swing.
Make it uncomfortably strong and give it a swing

Disclaimer - By no means would I consider myself a great golfer. I recently went through something similar, no matter what I did I couldn’t get good, consistent contact with irons. Realized I wasn’t getting enough shoulder turn and swing had gotten really armsy. Worked on that and slowed down backswing tempo have hit irons better than ever last 3 rounds.
