Played the front 9 Sunday, it’s not great but playable. Greens are soft so didn’t get much if any rollout.

re: Iron Help

Disclaimer - By no means would I consider myself a great golfer. I recently went through something similar, no matter what I did I couldn’t get good, consistent contact with irons. Realized I wasn’t getting enough shoulder turn and swing had gotten really armsy. Worked on that and slowed down backswing tempo have hit irons better than ever last 3 rounds.
I used his method for the first time today and it worked like a charm. I pulled them out of the soak a little early but every single one of them peeled easily.
Great, thanks and stay warm!
Luckily I have a transfer switch - the owners before me installed it!
Thanks Spankum - I know the standby generators have a housing but wasn’t sure if it was significantly insulated that it could withstand colder temps than a portable.

Portable Generator and cold weather

Sorry if posted already, I looked but didn’t see a thread yet. I will be at work during the winter weather this week and am pondering going ahead and putting my portable generator in place but not hooked up. Don’t want wife to have to lug it around in the muck if power goes out. I have a Westinghouse 13kw that I run on natural gas. I have a pad built to put it on to keep it off the ground. I’d go ahead and put it on the pad and cover it so all they’d have to do is hookup the gas and fire it up. Any thoughts on of that’s a bad idea, maybe change to a lower viscosity oil??

Green reading

I struggle to read greens, and realized lately how off I am. I’ll have others read it after I do and it’s completely the opposite of what I thought. Anyone got any recommendations or tips? It’s like I just can’t see straight or something.

re: Jeep Wrangler audio issue

Yes, that setup was an upgrade and it has a factory amp (i believe it’s a 2 channel). The amp powers all the speakers and the sub. The speakers work great, just nothing out of the sub. Tried every setting, switch, etc and can’t get it to work. I put the factory radio back in and it works great. Apparently the way Jeep setup this system is almost proprietary.

Jeep Wrangler audio issue

Long shot here but had no luck on Jeep forums or with Crutchfield. My son has a 2015 wrangler jku with the factory Alpine system. He wanted to update to a radio that had CarPlay and other modern features. Ordered the new radio, the idatalink and harnesses through Crutchfield and everything works except for the factory sub. I’ve spent over 8 hours with tech support and we’ve changed all of the components 3 times and end in the same result of everything works but the sub. Anybody dealt with this before or have any thoughts? Almost at the point of ripping everything out and just putting the stock radio back in.

We played Arizona Grand last spring, less than $100. It had some really nice holes, desert view, unique tee boxes. There are a couple of holes that seemed like a municipal course but overall it was great for the price. Enjoyed it but I usually play BREC course so doesn’t take much to impress me lol.
Nope never found it, he always said he thought it was more legend than truth.
Not sure, I'll call my father in law later and ask, lol!
Thanks for posting. Derwood was my wife's grandfather. It was always cool listening to him talk about some of these stories.

re: Parking Question - Sounds Simple

Alex Box is not in the area affected by the new parking rules. You can buy an overnight decal and leave your truck in the designated area or be back before 4 am. If after 4 am you have to buy a new pass or walk.
