Golf simulator rentals

So I’ve been thinking about renting out golf simulators. I have a BLP and everything. Just would need a projector and blow up enclosure. There is no one that does it in my area. I’ve looked across the country and it seems $200/hour is the going rate. I’d be happy with $300-400/day. Could even try and do benefit scrambles. Setup and do long drive competitions or closest to the hole. Idk a few bucks for so many swings. I would just test the waters first maybe even switch it to a Mevo plus if it gets rented enough for those with lefties. The inflatable enclosure is $1500 on amazon. So initial price would be fairly low. Even if it doesn’t workout I could use that enclosure at home when my friends come over and for our church events or school events. Not looking to make a living off of it just to increase the golf budget and have a little extra spending cash. Thoughts? Could even start with just a net and a tv and see how it goes and charge a little less just to test it out. That what I use at home outside.

A guy I’ve played with a few times started doing this last summer. Blow up inclosure, mevo plus. Rents it out for parties and goes to local festivals/events doing CTP, long drive for like 3 balls for $5 or something. Seems to stay pretty busy with the festivals. Only issue I see is you have to either sit there the entire time running the tablet or hire someone to. I can think of a million things I’d rather do with my free time then babysit the equipment and watch an endless supply of shitty swings.

I have been to a trade show and a team building off site event that used this exact set up. Was pretty neat for what it was. I could see how you would turn a profit but it would likely be more time consuming and travel than you might expect.

Thanks for the responses. I caught my head and figured it would be more trouble than it’s worth lol
