Luckily 2B tipped ball or Hernandez probably doesn't score. Why didn't we pinch run there?

Because he scored. No need to

Was a tie game. If we were down 1, we probably run for him

I also don’t think he scores if it isn’t tipped.

Bc the game was tied. If you pinch run and don’t score a run Hernandez is done for the extra innings.

How to say you don’t know baseball without specifically saying it…….

Because it’s tied and we had Mayer in still. You can’t go to Cade there.

Same reason Bras stayed in to bunt when the game was tied.

I thought it was a good question. I was asking my friends when it happened. We have Aranbeede to come in if we pinch run and don't score sending the game to extras. I also agree that if that ball isn't tipped by the infielder the centerfielder would have had a chance to throw us out at home.

Two outs and running on contact with a good secondary lead scores even the slowest runners. If it was less than 2 outs, I think we see a pinch runner.

They were not going to risk losing their catcher if the game stayed tied. They obviously value his defense too much in a close game like this. He ran well enough to score.

It would be one thing to start a Freshman catcher, but you could always relieve him. I don't think they were going to risk that in an important tied game.

Wow, what a big brain, what a well-thought-out insite, I wonder why none of us ever thought of that or saw that like you did

It’s a dumb question fitting for someone who doesn’t know baseball.
