The funniest thing about this thread is that if Saban had offered RR an "internship" somewhere - you guys would be pitching a fit and calling for an NCAA investigation yourselves.

Some might but I wouldnt. It's just like when we had Telfort here and we showed him how he could take all of his core classes for pharmacy school. Take a recruit's interest and show him the same opportunities that any student in that major or college would have.

If he's interested in politics then there are internships available. It's nothing secret or mysterious or illegal about it. It's like momma said. The internship is there, anyone could apply.

No, the funniest thing is that you are willing to follow some reporter on a wild goose chase, and think that ANYONE offered Reuben an internship on this trip. The article specifically says that no offer was made, but tried to draw some unfounded conclusions by just stating that the position existed. Be careful who you follow and how far ahead you are willing to "jump".

Rueben's own brother has said that there were no offers made to Rueben for any internships on this trip.

I don't see what difference this story makes, if true. Get in the real world... Do Bama players work part time jobs in the spring and summers? If not, I'd be even more suspicious that money is changing hands in violation of NCAA rules.

Number one, you better be careful about casting the first stone on this issue; and secondly, if Bama is placing their players in job programs and providing them with career opportunities, good for them.
