May be one of his best albums ever.
Needed to post.

It’s a great album but so depressing. Hard for me to listen to very often.

Great album but as mentioned a little dark.
There is no way to listen to it and not associate it with his death. That’s too bad it’s good stuff.

Agreed. A brilliant album but not exactly cheerful.
When you go back and listen to Bowie’s
catalogue, you realize what a brilliant
talent he was.

That video and song creeped me out.

Agreed, and he sustained it for decades. Lots of phases but the music was the constant.

it took me a few listens to warm up to it. I think it's one that you need to listen to in its entireity and not just one song randomly.

The Bowie film documentary Moonage Daydream (2022) was amazing and extremely deep. A film worth watching 2-3 times because it was so intense. Parts of the film made you feel like you were in Bowie’s shoes and tripping on LSD

I literally had to put the album down for well over a year because of this, but it's what it makes it so powerful.

I may have to give it another chance.. it didn't do much for me when it was released... dang.. ~10 years ago!

I had no idea that it's been that long until you mentioned that.
