Hotel recommendations in Chattanooga?

Heading to the Smokies in July, and I think we’ve decided to stop off in Chattanooga on the way there. Plan to leave the BR area early so we’ll have some time that afternoon and the next morning to see some stuff in the city. Any suggestions on hotels I cooks book?

I’ve stayed at the kinley a couple of times. They have a nice speakeasy bar

Anything downtown near the river is fine.
