This is just an FYI. If you haven’t done this drive already, you owe it to yourself to make it happen.

What route?
I've driven Salt Lake to Cheyenne to Denver and driven Denver to Bryce Canyon.
70 across the Front Range and up through the tunnel and through Glenwood Canyon and across the San Rafael was mesmerizing because of the change in scenery. Not sure what 25 north to SLC looks like.
80 to 25 was beautiful leaving SLC on 80 and the Front Range off to the west on 25 but in between was a bit boring.

Hopefully not on I-70. It sucks. Construction, rock scaling, traffic, wrecks, etc.

40/191 through Utah was amazing. Felt surreal at times.
I70 in Colorado has traffic issues but still worth doing.
One road I highly recommend is 131 from 70 up to Steamboat Springs.
As an alternative to 70, you could do 14 and 40 across from basically Fort Collins, and then go 40 all the way through to 80 near Salt Lake.
Just when you’re thinking “can there be any more mountains”, you round a corner and bam the flat salt lake.
Yeah I heard that’s the efficient way but not the prettiest.
