I have a here legally Mexican who does sub work for me. He lives in Port Arthur in a neighborhood with a ton of Mexicans, many of whom are not here legally.

He told me two weeks ago his whole neighborhood was shut down because people were not leaving their houses or going outside after 3 people down the street got deported. Word spread fast that ICE has undercover agents in Home Depot, Lowe's, etc all around Texas so none of them were willing to risk it.

Today he told me how all of the ones left are pissed at the Cali riots for putting a bigger target on their backs. Apparently, they all thought that they could ride this out and Trump would only go after the criminals, but they all understand the imagery of burning an American city while waving a Mexican flag just means more support for all of them to get deported.

He did mention a few are now considering self-deporting because if they do, they can reach back out to have their of age anchor baby kids "adopt them". I looked this up, and apparently it is a thing

quote:

When people say a child born in the USA can “adopt” their parents living in Mexico, they’re usually misusing or misunderstanding the term “adopt.” What they typically mean is that the U.S.-born child, once they turn 21, can petition for their parents to get legal permanent residency (a green card). Here's a breakdown:

What it actually means:

A child born in the U.S. is automatically a U.S. citizen.

Once the child turns 21 years old, they are legally allowed to file a family-based immigration petition (Form I-130) for their parents.

If approved and all eligibility requirements are met, the parents can apply to become lawful permanent residents (green card holders).

This is not “adoption” in any legal sense — it’s a sponsorship for immigration.

Requirements and Considerations:

The sponsoring child must show they can support their parents financially (using an Affidavit of Support).

If the parents are living in Mexico, they usually go through consular processing, which means attending an interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate.

If the parents entered the U.S. illegally at any point, or have other immigration violations, it can complicate or prevent the process — so legal advice is strongly recommended in those cases.

I wouldn't mind it so much if they were just sincere about wanting to become Americans. While it's ok to remember your heritage, you have to be American first. I haven't seen much of that in a very LONG time from any immigrants except ones I know from South Africa.

My wife is Mexican and I have a massive Mexican family. To a tee they are uncomfy with ICE, but they think the protestors and rioters are idiots and bringing more heat on the community than wanted/needed.

Same thing he told me this morning. He said he and his wife left Mexico 34 years ago when they were both 18, and they are more American than Mexican. Said all of his kids are 100% American.

He did a pretty good job assimilating but he is also pretty old school and keeps his head down.

This all actually makes sense

I know a lot of the legal Mexicans here can't stand the illegals and definitely can't stand what's going on in CA

My maternal grandfather was from Denmark. My paternal great-great grandfather came from Scotland. I wish both counties well, but otherwise, I don't give a shite about either country. I'm all about the good old USA.

Not only is this mess self inflicted by the Democrats, it's also intentional. The Replacement Theory was never a theory, but a fact, and the move was to always mock and ridicule anyone who pointed it out, even though it absolutely was/ is happening.

But also the limp wristed go-along-get-along Republicans who were too scared to speak up less they be called RACIST!

You're what's wrong with America.

It's like when one of a football team you pull for get arrested. He's a good boy.

Truth is that our greatest mistake. Excusing the fact that America has been ruined by integration.

But heh congrats on you abetting the downfall of our Republic.

You're a clown.

So we are now supposed to bitch about those who did it the right way and became citizens?

Make up your mind so we all know what is or isn't acceptable.

My wife is a legal immigrant from Indonesia. We’re both on the edge of our seats, anxiously awaiting your judgment on whether she meets your evidently divine standards of acceptability
