I’ve seen deer killed behind pine limbs stacked in a half circle and a folding chair. You gotta at least give an idea what you’re looking for. A cheap ground blind can be had for like $70 on amazon. It’ll be pink after a month in the weather but it’ll hide movement. If you’re looking to build something, define cheap and how long you want it to last.

Spend the money for a good blind or hunt behind a brushed in pallet.

This started out as a $200 6' x 6' metal building from Amazon. Flip up framed glass windows from Academy, I've since found a less expensive source online. The inside is framed out with 2 x 4s and is fully insulated. Did all the work ourselves over a day and half. All the lumber and insulation is left overs from jobs so no cost in that, so there is less than $700 in it. With the framing on the inside it is as stiff as can be, no flexing. We sat it on a flatbed, put two straps over the top and pulled 2+ hours down the interstate without any issues. Windows were the biggest expense by far. I have a couple others in the shop to put together in my spare time this summer for next season. There is a FB group for cheap deer blinds that show a bunch of builds using cheap mail order buildings.

Do you plan to set it up each time or leave it in place for the season?

I bought a millennium buck hut - No complaints other than installation. Thing was very heavy and i hunt in the marsh, so it was difficult to get to, and install in the marsh.

I have 3 double millennium ladder stands and a sportsman condo shooting house.

I prefer the sportsman condo.

I don't go cheap on ladder stands. Too much at risk to go cheap on those.

They call them Awning Sash Windows, they have 3 sizes. They come with all the hardware to install them against a flat surface. They aren't quite as heavy duty as the ones Academy sells but they are less than half the cost of those as well.

build one yourself.

Or use a 3 pallets and nail them together, drape with burlap and call it a day

I’ve used this metal frame with a pop up that fits the base the last two years. Sat in one at a buddy’s and it was pretty great for what it was and wasn’t more than $1k after acquiring the actual blind.

I have put one of these out at my gf’s parents ranch and also at my parents and just take the blind down and take it to the other property whenever needed.
