Well back in the late 70's to late 80's BK was way better than Mcdonalds in my opinion.

Yep. Somewhere around 1990 they started microwaving them when you order one. They may have gotten rid of the steamer that they held the ungarnished burgers in too. It killed the taste far more than you'd think a simple microwave could. You can order one without that microwave step if they're not busy.....and the staff speaks English.

I remember smelling the smoke from the flame grilling, you could tell there was a BK near.
I worked at a gas station in high school right besides a BK in the 80's. That smoke made you always want a Whopper.
