Standing room only tickets were sold so fast because they went to presale

The TAF presale indicated bleacher seats and no SRO possibility. Submitted my request and they showed up in my account on Tuesday but no charge, so I figured it was a mistake and I didn't really get tickets. This morning at 8:56am I was charged. Then and only then did they become downloadable so I downloaded them and to my surprise, they were SRO tickets. I called and asked why, and was told it was because there were more requests than they anticipated and WVU also ended up with more requests than they anticipated, so they gave me SRO. I'd imagine there are a shite ton of TAF presale tickets that went the same route as mine.
So everyone else was not able to get SRO at 9:00am this morning since they were all sold before 9:00am, 8:56am to be exact.

Yep, glad to have tickets but pissed I have to stand the whole time and jockey for a spot where my kid will be able to see without anyone in front of him.

This seems true. Must’ve blocked out a certain number reserved for TAF, lclub, etc & had minimum remaining for public
I have a link to purchase & it still shows SRO is available for me. Maybe LSU will sell the rest for individual games if there are some leftover

Some of the best times are in the SRO. I was standing with those baws during the in the park home run last weekend and it was nuts.

Thanks baw, but I'm exhausted from the clusterfrick email communication from the ticket office and TAF this week, and this entire process in general, that I'm just going to stick with what I have now. At least I'll be in the shade.
I got emails from the ticket office saying thank you for requesting tickets and that I would be charged for them by Tuesday. Then another email saying I'd be charged by Thursday, meanwhile the tickets were there in my account the whole time, unable to be downloaded. Got a charge earlier this week, then the charge was gone. Then TAF sent an email asking me to join TAF when I'm already a member. Then another email from the ticket office asking me to purchase a parking pass (meanwhile, mind you, I have these mythical tickets sitting in my account with a charge that occurred then was reversed, and unable to download the tickets).
Then last night comes, I get a link to download the tickets but when I tried, it said I didn't have tickets to download.
Then this morning at 8:56am, I get charged again, the tickets are able to be downloaded, but they're SRO when they specifically said they'd be bleacher seats.
frick this entire process. LSU has to do better. I realize the requests being higher than anticipated is out of their control but the communication was as if a fricking freshman general studies student worker was in charge. Extremely unprofessional.

Sounds about right, LSU box office says they sold tickets at 9AM which is what's aggravating. Why even lie?

TAF members were emailed on the 21st of May asking to request tickets to regionals and super regionals as a presale event. Wouldn't be charged unless the tickets were obtained.

Thank you for letting everyone know. Not your fault. It is frustrating that they didn’t let the fan base know there were no tickets today.

I wanted to get tickets tomorrow, my dad is fighting cancer and wanted to go. Looks like we'll be watching at the house!

Om worried about mimaw and padain. They have great seats but its going to be hot as hell. I think the plan is for them to show up in the 5th and watch from there on to reduce heat exposure
