Do you ever get the hiccups?

Me neither. Why is that? Seems like my first 20 years, I'd get the hiccups all the time. The next 20 years? Nothing. I can't even remember the last time I was around someone who got the hiccups.

Occasionally but i know how to get rid of them almost immediately. Som gets them about once a week. Whats there to talk about?

Seems like eating something spicy chased by something carbonated gives me the hiccups.
The older I get, the more hiccups hurt.

I don’t “get” the hiccups. By that I mean I don’t have series of hiccups in a row for however long. Instead I will occasionally hiccup once. It’s not often. Maybe every few weeks or months. Really it’s so rare I’ve not noticed any sort of pattern.
My poor wife though gets them quite often. Drives her nuts that I never get them.
