I will be staying on Jekyll Island, but the restaurants there don't seem particularly special.
Any favorite spots in this area?

Southern Soul is legit BBQ on St Simon's, best to call in the order and go pick it up and take it back to your condo, as the place is a madhouse due to it's well-deserved popularity.

SSI - Barrier Island Brewery and the place across the street.
Brunswick- The yellow Deli. Its a cult, but their food is good and they dont try to recruit you:) They are closed on Saturday for church though, but open on Sunday.

Worked in the area and found these restaurants that you may like:
Marshside Grill = Good seafood, good atmosphere (Brunswick)
Toucan's Ale House - best Brunswick Stew of those I tried (Brunswick)

Please report back on your stay, I really want to go there next year. There's so little internet fodder and I haven't been to Jekyll since I was a kid.

Will do. I've never been there before, so I'm looking forward to it. It looks more quiet and rural, which will be nice because I'm not looking to do much.
