Attended the Railbird Music Festival in Lexington, KY this past weekend and had a blast. Saw several of the young up and comers and some of my favorites. Ryan Bingham is really good live, Wyatt Flores was really good too. Sierra Ferrel is alot of fun. Music is in good hands. Festival was well organized and plenty of food and drink options. Transportation plan could use a little improvement but wasn't unmanageable. All the stages sound set ups were good too. Nice way to spend some time in the Bluegrass state.

I went a couple years ago and it was an unmitigated disaster. Billy McFarland would have blushed. They actually cancelled it the next few years to regroup. I’m glad it’s doing better because it had potential but the execution was awful.

I went to the first one (2019) at Keeneland and it was nice. I have a feeling it wasn’t as busy as the later ones.

Get me an onion, a shoelace, and a Mr. Coffee and I'll make you some hobo chili.

Estimated attendance of 40,000 this year, down from 45,000 last year.
