How can the Browns have so much dead money with Watson on the books?

I wouldn't be surprised if Demario and Cam retire at the end of the year which would set us up for a big free agency. Mathieu could go aswell.

Ram & Carr’s retirements still not factored in to that figure

What does that mean for us? I'm sure it's a good thing, but how much of a good thing?

There is some screwy language with Carr’s retirements still, so I am not 100% what will happen with his. But going strictly off of OTC, they will get about $1.2M in extra cap space and that dead money will jump up $31.5M

Ram will also have a dead cap of $12M on the 2026 books. No idea what Carr’s will be (quick search estimates his 2026 dead money at $30.9M)

We’re still way over the cap for 26, nowhere near ready for mega splash signings in free agency.

Just draft well and develop what we have at this point.

I'm pretty sure if you factor in retirement of Carr, Ram, Cam, Demario, and Mathieu you are very wrong.

That's not including $44mil between Kamara, Olave, and Taysom if more moves are made.

We should have +30mil before the cap increase and not including retirement of Cam/ Demario/ Tyrann. So we could easily be looking at +$50-60mil if they retire not including those (3) salaries that are very tradable.
