Noot, Cowan, and Evans tomorrow. I’d like to see Schmidt and Williams get some work next inning.

Probably because he got drilled his last two outings. Needs a little time off. Get his mojo back.

This game has been decided. Save Cowan to close the next win.

Never thought I’d say this, but throw Shores in there too. He can pitch before Noot.

Shores has definitely looked better the last few outings. Agreed.

He’s in a perfect position to come in relaxed and eat some innings tomorrow with little pressure on him.

No. Save Shores for Monday should that be necessary. Start Evans. Cowan long relief. Williams short relief.

I’d go Noot -> Williams -> Evan’s tomorrow.

That saves Cowan -> Shores -> Mayers/Rizy/Fontenot/Benge/whoever for Monday. Still plenty enough to get the job done.

Can’t be overstated how well the staff has performed of late. Going into game 3 without Noot/Shores/Cowan/Evans/Williams having thrown an inning and Rizy/Mayers going an inning or less, without allowing a single run, is insane.

I think Yeskie and Jay may know how to manage pitching staffs.

I disagree. Reward the pitcher that deserves that start - Evans.

Give him some close-out-game pressure to see how he reacts. He still a freshman. Don’t forget.

If it works, great. If not, we still have two options for long relief or Monday starter.
