Testosterone is a steroid hormone derived from cholesterol. Testosterone is a naturally-occurring hormone made by the gonads. So why not set standard acceptable level for testosterone for competition in female athletic events? If your steroid level ie testosterone is above a certain level you cannot compete in a female event. Even in women with certain medical conditions the ovaries are not going to come near producing what a functioning male gonad can produce.

They won’t even check female competitors to make sure they are actually female.

Testosterone is only a small part of the problem. The muscle and bone structure of males will always give them an advantage over females no matter what drugs and hormones they're on.

Caster Semenya has testosterone levels comparable to the average male. Always thought it was unfair how they try and disqualify her from women’s sports because of it.

If you replaced your arms and legs with wheels, would that make you a wagon?

I watched some softball world series yesterday. The "girls" that weren't just huge had arms that looked like men (speaking of Texas Tech specifically). Plus, they were flat chested. That screams male hormones to me.
