Iberville Landing - anybody know anything about this?

A couple days ago I was fishing by the old Alligator Bar (aka Earline & Red's Alligator Hilton) on Manchac Road and I saw this sign up. Anybody have the scoop?

if you’ve ever been to a state park cabin that’s what they will be like. That looks like a cool development. You can make a good profit on canoe and kayak rentals and sign all the liability off to the renter

I got my booster 3 years ago after ripping my arm open on a rusty gate during a match. Won the point, took 2 minute medical, cleaned it with alcohol swab used for cleaning my sunglasses, wrapped it with new grip tape for racquet, won the match, went to the ER for stitches & tetanus shot.

But it’s not going to be a state park, right? It’s a private business? Ozarks have plenty of sites with cabins that don’t look like they are falling apart. If they are building a new development I’m assuming they will be building the cabins, too?
I would not stay in that rusty shed if it were free. I can feel the snakes crawling over me just looking at that pic. They would have to fight the swarm of mosquitoes to decide what would kill me first.

I wouldn’t stay overnight there with all the manchac trash anyway but the kayak and canoe rentals will be nice to have close by. That area is really nice and easy to get away from crowds when you want

Almost as good as when I beheaded the snake on our court by beating it with my racquet. I’ve developed a slightly intimidating reputation from these incidents where my inner SLa comes out.
