Autozone, O'Reilly's or NAPA and a phillips head screwdriver.

The entire housing needs replacing? Or just the bulb? Both are easy to DIY with minimal tools and skills.

Just the bulb I think. She checked YouTube and it mentioned a special tool. Thanks.

Apparently there is a special tool necessary to reach a piece in a tight fit when trying to replace the bulb.

A deep/extension socket is not a "special tool".

The "special tools" required cost less than $25 at harbor freight...

$8.99 PITTSBURGH 3/8 in., 1/4 in. Drive SAE and Metric Socket Set, 40-Piece

$11.99 PITTSBURGH PRO 1/4 in. Drive Metric High Visibility Deep Socket, 10-Piece

ETA: If you want to get fancy, you can even get the trim removal tools for an extra $.8.49....

PITTSBURGH Nylon Pry Bar Installer Kit, 4 Piece

obligatory - pics?

If she's anything over an OT 3, tell her to go to Autozone, walk with purpose, and they'll change it for her in the parking lot.
