Let it Ride

An absolutely wonderful movie. Degenerate gamblers, quirky music, some star power, it’s got it all.

David Johanson as Looney, the dimwitted cab driver friend, Jennifer Tilly as Vicki, the airhead girlfriend of the clubhouse regular and Robbie Coltrane as the ticket seller help make that movie memorable for me.

Dreyfus is great as Jay Trotter, the habitual gambler and up to that day, perpetual loser who goes on a win streak to beat all win streaks......

Any time I see that movie playing, I will watch it.

That movie was made when Tilly was pretty petite with big boobs. When I see her now playing Texas Hold-Em on TV in those tournaments, she's really filled out, but it usually comes with age, and she's now 66.
