Everybody agreed this year was Omaha or bust. LSU is squarely a top 8 seed and is probably one of if not the best team at home this season. Today's offense was also the lowest of low you can go.

Expectations didn't change. Omaha is still likely. Jay Johnson has a Tiger Stadium sized pit in his stomach right now, more than any one of us. Hold the rope and trust that our National Championship winning head coach will steer us right, as we should.

The ONLY pressure on Jay Johnson is whatever he puts on himself. And I trust JJ to get this team in position to win this coming Regional.

I was VERY encouraged at our pitching today. That was a plus. Hitting looked like none of our players cared too awful much. JMO...

At this point in the season, our team is what it is. Let's go win this Regional.

It is what it is. And if Jay Johnson believes something needs be done different for next season, he will. But for now this is our team, the one with a Top 8 seed, and the one with a shot to get us back to Omaha. Not every PM team had the same chance of winning it all, and that was in a way less competitive landscape than we are in now.

Milam and the vets were supposed to take the next step

It seems like they did so on defense though

Probably the #1 or #2 most favored team behind Arkansas to win the CWS and they went 1 and done in Hoover. Bats are cold but they won’t be at the box. I’m not going to be concerned again this season until we’re in Omaha
