How did you decide YES for Ozempic while NO for vaccine?

What most influenced you in taking these decisions?

Cause I hated being fat more than I hated the risks of a vaccine.

Ozempic is a medication coincidentally administered by an injection. This is the only similarity between them and you are asking people to explain why they took one and not the other?

Other than neither are needed for about 95% of the population

How can you say everyone should be FORCED to get the vaccine but support women’s rights to choose about abortions? I’ve always wanted to ask a radical liberal this…

Nobody is forcing you to take ozympic

People were essentially forced to take covid vaxx

Ozympic has far more side effects

Because one gives results with basically zero effort and one doesn’t really show any results. Don’t ever underestimate what people are willing to try if it means they don’t have to put in any real work

I’ve got no excess skin in this game, but it might be that Ozempic was originally marketed as a type-2 diabetes drug back in 2016ish(?) and has already been through actual clinical trials.

mRNA vaccines have been around since the 80s.

To lose weight.
To not for of heart complications and get called a “covid death”.

Just assuming. I didn’t take either.

Who's getting forced to get a vaccine?

It was proposed by radical liberals that the vax should be forced. Good thing it never happened but you could say it was almost forced during the height of the pandemic

What?

They originally tried it for seasonal flu and it was a colossal failure, worse success rate than coronavirus’s.

Besides this little factoid…

It’s probably equivalent to the alt right pearl clutching about abortion while turning a blind eye to gun control.

The right to bear arms is specifically listed and protected by the constitution. Abortion is not. So not really apples to apples until they amend the constitution.

If you said death penalty vs abortion you would have a valid point.

So your opposition to abortion is constitutional?

According to the Gun Violence Archive, there were 16,714 gun-related deaths in the United States in 2024, excluding suicides.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, an estimated 1,038,100 clinician-provided abortions occurred in the United States in 2024 in states without total abortion bans.

Nothing really "equivalent" about the two.
