Been to Boston several times, but never been up to Lexington and Concord. Wife LOVES American history so we are going to drive through it in June. Is it worth the time spent?

Yes
It's neat to see the history
I would suggest a tour because some of the places are kind of off the beaten path and easier than trying to find everything on your own

If you enjoy history it’s absolutely worth it to go
I did the tour in 2017. Loved it. ( the tour I did was self guided.. really just the bus to get us there and back.. gave us plenty of time to wander around and explore and read up but we could each do our own thing )
You’re standing and walking around directly where history occurred. Then you get to the bridge on the farm where the standoff concurred and imagine the tension both sides must’ve felt

Was there on Sunday. Really where our country began. Go to both Lexington and Concord. Really great if you love American history.
