He used false premise to put down states' rights and empower the federal octopus.

Sherman was held back. Shouldn't have stopped. Should have burnt the entire south to ground. Pretending that there was honor to the confederacy as a cheap way to avoid a few decades guerilla warfare is one of the worst mistakes our government has made.

Don't think there's much depth to it tbh.
The confederacy was a failed attempt by rich Southerners to destroy the US in an attempt to continue to own slaves. Nothing about it should be celebrated. Pretty simple.

It's simple. No slaves no war. No affirmative action. Less welfare queens. Less crime, less murder and fewer prisons.
