I have a choice between these 3 safes. Which one would you choose and why?

the one that has the thickest walls, highest fire rating, and most locking bolts. Liberty makes a solid safe with no fancy thrills. Browning safes are nice, but you often overpay for the name and glitter metallic paint. Buy more safe than you need. A 28-gun safe will only hold 14-16 scoped rifles and shotguns. Buy an oversized 48-56 gun safe once and be done with it. That way you can store ALL your valuables, jewelry, and cash in it. I'd suggest a dial vs. an e-tronic touch pad.

Figure 1 gun for every 3 holes in reality. My Liberty is nice but…. Lock is finicky and they have no answers…their phone rep was a young girl with no specific answers. Shelves minimize shotgun space. Big hole for rifles is too tight, as I don’t want to bump scopes.

Figure twice the size you need. Go BIG

I wish I had gone with a huge Browning.

Definitely dial. Imagine you are loading your truck to head to the camp and the safe will not open

I have PTSD every time that I hit the key pad

Liberty Safe and Security Products, Inc., which is known as Liberty Safe, is currently owned by Compass Diversified Holdings. The company was previously a portfolio company of Catterton Partners, which was also acquired by Compass Diversified Holdings, according to Baird. Monomoy Capital Partners had previously acquired Liberty Safe in 2021, according to Monomoy Capital Partners.
Very liberal. Recently was caught giving lock passcodes to the fbi. They say they don’t do that anymore.

I have a Liberty Colonial 50. It’s not a big box safe. I love it. The locking mechanism is better than the big box stuff and the steel door is rolled steel and not just sheet. You have to decide if what you have is worth the upgrade. I bought mine from Mikes in BR and had them deliver.

I have over 50 guns in my safe. Always get bigger than what you think you’ll need.

That’s it

Get a rifle rod kit. You can buy on Amazon. Really helps get more rifles inn the safe.

The cheapest of the three. Make sure it holds double the amount of long guns you currently have.
Go YouTube safe reviews, all the residential safe are pretty much the same and unless you step up to something over 10k$ it’s not keeping out a professional. I have one with the hope that it defeats the smash and grab crack head who sold his metabo for a crack rock and is only rocking a tire tool.

My Aunt and Uncle own a vacation home in northern NM. We were out there last summer. The town where we were staying had a house burglarized. The owner had a gun safe and the thieves ran a cable through the walls and pulled it out of the slab and through the walls with a 1 ton pickup.
