Seriously though, Saban probably should be paying more attention to TR who is slipping from his grasp rather than a Louisiana guy who is likely not going to qualify. I mean is the possible loss of one of your top recruits worth getting a guy who probably will be at a JUCO next year, just to say you pulled a Louisiana recruit? Something to think about.

Lacy seems to me, to be a higher priority than a bunch are giving him on here. Trent Rich looks like a 3 and out type of prospect. That running back they had this was a freshman, so if he stays the entire time, Trent and him would leave in the same year leaving who at running back?
If Lacy went to Juco, he'd be getting to campus Trents junior and other guys Senior year. Leaving him the majority of carries his senior year after they leave.

It really shows the respect Saban has for La kids when he will sign two that are not likely to qualify, just in hopes one might. He evidently sees that as a good gamble.

sounds like a solid recruiting tactic to count on kids being able to contribute who you haven't even offered a scholarship yet
