I still don't get the UConn thing.

When I graduated HS in '86, I got basically spam mail from SF Austin & Rice out of the blue to attend their schools. Those are the only two schools that ever sent me letters. I still hold a special place in my heart for their efforts to lure me, even though they probably just sent out a bunch of letters to all the HS seniors in '86 from a generic La. graduates list.

But Mingo has offers not only from UConn/LSU/Bama, but also from Oklahoma, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Notre Dame, UCLA, Texas A&M, Louisiana Tech, and Louisiana-Mon.

I don't get his facination with at all.
