Bags, boo birds, and opposing fans taking over the Dome has been the norm since Brees and Payton left. I’m expecting more of the same.

There are still fans who believe Saints are one of the best teams in the NFL.

It’s called Denial and/or Ignorance.

Well you should try using a plastic bag. They're more plentiful and if you snug it up tight the pain of the season won't last long.

Even if expectations are low, fans can still tune in for the first year of a new coach and QB and cheer them on.

I’m excited to check out the new offensive and defensive schemes. The players are not there, yet, but watching the team get rebuilt can still have an element of entertainment.

Real fans will cheer the progress. Some attention seekers or nonfans will wear bags.

You can only hope the coaches do not become frustrated and pull-back on the new offensive and defensive schemes…. because the dearth of talent might not be able to execute the new schemes effectively.

That's ridiculous. How hard is it gonna be to get a paper bag?

Today, you have Amazon, Michaels, paper mart, grocery stores, etc. Everyone will be able to find a paper bag if they really want one. We don't need to turn this getting supplies for milk sandwiches before a hurricane.

With Derek Carr gone, this IS the worst team in the NFL

They fell from about 26th to 32nd

I don’t think so.

Most logical fans know this is gonna be a lost season. No one is expecting a Super Bowl.

It’s a rebuilding team.

what kills me about our fanbase, and yes I know it is probably every one of them, is people bitched about the retreads, DA, Carmichael, holdovers from the Payton era, etc.......not we finally rid ourselves of all of that, get a coaching staff that wanted to come here - knowing, i might add, just how bad off we are talent wise, but money wise also, and now we get to bitch about the season that hasn't happened yet.

no rational fan expects anything this season, but to just be a negative bitch about it is just looking for a reason to complain. there are a lot of things to be positive about, but i guess that doesn't fit your narrative of negativity.

I myself expect nothing, but am excited to see what we look like thus season - been a long time since we saw anything different.

and no matter how bad the team was last season, to me it was never close to brown bag days - if you think it was, your being disingenuous.

Why would anyone boo? We are finally rebuilding with a young Offensive minded coach and a young QB.
