It looks to me like Ware is trying to over throw the ball too much. He is trying to hit 95-96 MPH.

I agree. It’s baffling how college pitchers consistently cannot throw strikes for us. A 1-off outing is 1 thing, but it’s every time with these other arms. Unbelievable.

Yes he is overthrowing. He is out now, but it would have been nice if he settled down and threw 90 mph instead.

I don't think most people realize how much players today are only taught velocity and spin rate. A lot of the pitchers can't just pitch and when they struggle they can't understand why.
