Anybody fished Hopedale..

In the last few weeks.
Headed down for the weekend. Was looking to get any reports from out in the sound.

Lots of dirty water. Long rocks are a good option if you are willing to deal with the boat show

How's the water look at the islands? Assume dirty due to the high river.

The water was dirty two weeks ago. We caught about 20 13" -18" and about 50 11" - 12.75"

We just ran to the rocks and trolled a section that the dolphin were hanging around. They did have several bigger boats come from that direction but don't know what they had.

Weather looks awful for the islands. 20 mph south wind is a no go for me and I’m MUCH closer out of Venice.
I hope I’m wrong but think we are headed down to go to the camp I suspect fishing gonna be tough. Of course in Venice we have 15’ rover to contend with on too of the wind you have more protection in Hopedale.

Tides 4 fishing has 7-10 mph out of south
Windfinder has 10-15 mph out of south
So you can probably add 7-8 to those numbers.
Will probably check rocks and comfort island, then work my way to the north.
