What attorney would you hire to go up against the crooked Downs, Saffioti, & Boudreaux firm? I’ve seen them represent people well - but when a crook gets to them first it seems to be a bloodbath for the children..

Thoughts and prayers for the children. Family court gives no fricks about them as you obviously know. Wish I had a helpful answer.

Haha, definitely. I thought I could get away easily after putting her through rehab so many times and having had to call the police to get her under control a few times.
So crazy now that they have Lisa Boudreaux none of that stuff is relevant annymore.. she ditched the high paying job & got a weed prescription. That attorney gives you a whole new identity ??

You're in luck, this board has a very present discount divorce lawyer who appears to have plenty of free time on his hands. SFP could be right for you.

I used Lisa Prater Bailey, word is that she can be aggressive. It never got to that point so I can’t first hand attest to performance in volatile situations. She isn’t part of a big firm so depending on how nasty it gets, that could be problematic. If you are up against a big outfit then definitely interview potential representation for ability to perform (how busy are they and how much help do they have).
You are right that common sense evidence you have against the spouse means way less than you would imagine. Still counts for something though, need a good attorney to argue the point.

I already have to hear her antagonizing with every interaction I don’t think adding another of that type will help..
there’s no straight shooters around that can call her out with blatant lies? Just need someone to shut her up long enough that a judge can look at police reports & rehab records.. I had no idea family court was this bad

It will play out in time, but yes you need a lawyer to keep it from getting rammed through

Someone already warned me that they are friends and work things out behind closed doors. I need someone to call her out on complete BS, not preserve any relationship.
