Anyone play there recently? Thinking about giving it a go. It's just 1.5hr ride for me and want it to be worth it.

Played Saturday. Surprisingly good with all the recent rain.

Awesome, heard this might be happening soon. This course has existed for far too long without a proper clubhouse to match the rest of their facilities. Love the layout.

They need new range balls. Those may be the worst range balls in the state

Not nearly as bad as the ones at Atchafalaya last time I went there. The covers were all falling apart.

It should be good weather, a little windy but it always seems to be windy there anyway.

My buddy who'd never been as we're pulling up, "Where are all the trees?"

Not many trees in a cane field.

So what did you think? Teed off at 7 and thought the conditions were pretty good.

They also need to redo the redone bunker surrounds. Terrible.

I thought it was awesome! We played from the whites because of the wind. I really enjoyed it. Greens were kinda medium pace. Slower than Greystone and faster than Beaver creek. Fairways and greens looked nice!
Shot an 82 which is really good for me. They paired me up with a couple guys which I didn’t like at first but I’m glad they did because they had played there before and had some good insight to where to hit on certain holes, which made it a lot easier. I would have been lost if they weren’t there!

Definitely will play again
