Was anyone surprised Anderson came back out in the 6th with 98 pitches

I think that is where he was in the count.

I am not questioning CJJ just thought it was different especially in a game down 1.

No I thought he could go one more. Other than his usual solo home runs he was cruising.

not really. he usually is good for 110ish

I was not surprised. He threw 135 pitches a month ago. Dude has some stamina, and can go into the 110-120 range with relative ease.

This. He was averaging 105 pitches per SEC start going into last night. Wanted to get another inning out of him and I don’t blame em.

For those of us who actually pay attention, Jay pulling Kade before he hit his average number of pitches in SEC games would have been the surprise.

Why would that be a surprise when he was cramping in his wrist? JJ isn’t going to take chances in that situation dumb azz.
