Air frame less at issue than what radar version each was using and which AA armament was used.
The difference in effective range between a Block 1 f-16 and current Block 70-72 f-16’s is massive. Almost as massive as the different in effective range of the anti air armaments used on the first f16s vs current. No idea what version India is fielding.
